Pre Sales Manager (Lighting Industries Segment)


Our Client, specialists in providing lighting solutions, is looking for a Pre Sales Manager.
The Pre Sales Manager will take the lead in developing and implementing plans to capture business opportunities and grow sales, market share and financial profitability in the lighting segment and to complement the existing sales force with an increased level of lighting expertise.
Working in close collaboration with the high end industrial end users, owners, proprietors, building management, developers, distributors agents & public authorities, this role has to educate, consult, and advise on the concept of lighting solutions to directly and indirectly influence their decision to subscribe to a premium choice of lighting products and solutions.

Salary: S$5000 - 6000
Responsibilities:
  • High level of expertise with lighting products and solutions to meet expectations in revenue growth and profitability
  • To drive initiatives to promote top line lighting sales within the region
  • To promote product sales within region by supporting promotions and sales lead generation programs
  • To develop business plan for marketing lighting products
  • To research and keep current on government regulations in the region pertaining to lighting
  • To promote and strengthen relationships with customers, lighting consultants and agents by demonstrating increased lighting competency and present oneself as a consultant and leader in the sphere of lighting and lighting solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relating electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 8-10 years of progressively responsible sales & marketing experience with an emphasis on lighting related segment
  • Prior experience working with lighting manufacturers or lighting agents preferred
  • Thorough technical knowledge of lighting products and solutions as related to customers’ business needs
  • Ability in selling high value new business representing a European engineered premium product with superior technical performance
  • Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to persuade and influence others in a positive manner
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Capable of collaborating with teams and achieving results
  • Self driven, independent and enthusiastic to succeed
  • Willingness to travel within region
  • Working Hours: 9am - 6pm (Mon - Fri)
